Pilots with Pinnacle Airlines Inc. will begin voting Friday on a tentative labor agreement, which includes 9 percent pay cuts, MinnPost reports. There also are longevity changes in the deal that will affect pilot pay.

The carrier operates regional flights for Delta Air Lines in/out of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Delta's decision to phase out 50-seat regional jets more quickly and fly more 76-seat planes had an overwhelming impact on the labor deal since Delta is Pinnacle's only customer.

Pinnacle, which acquired Mesaba Airlines in January 2012, filed for bankruptcy reorganization last April.
