An airplane slid off the runway during takeoff at Mankato Regional Airport on Tuesday.
Details of incident are limited, but it happened around 2 p.m. in snowy conditions, the City of Mankato says.
According to the Mankato Free Press, there were four passengers on the plane and none of them were injured.
It was a twin-engine aircraft and the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
Mankato officially received 4.5 inches of snow on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. That said, areas around Mankato picked up 6-8 inches so totals across the south-central Minnesota city could vary substantially.
The airport is located at 3030 North Airport Road. It has two runways and services thousands of takeoffs and landings each year.
