The man allegedly did not file taxes for six years, and did not pay for four years

A Plymouth man is facing felony charges for not filing or paying income taxes for multiple years in a row.

Richard A. Dunn is charged for six felony counts of failing to file income tax returns for tax years 2014-2019, and four felony counts of failing to pay income tax for tax years 2016-2019.

During that time, he allegedly racked up over $33,000 in owed income taxes.

Each felony count carries up to five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.

Many of the Minnesota Department of Revenue's criminal case referrals come from public tips, the agency said in a press release.

Note: An earlier version of this story identified the incorrect Richard Dunn of Plymouth. We apologize unreservedly for this error.
