Plymouth man gets 12.5 years in prison for child porn charge
A Plymouth man has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for distributing child pornography.
Alexzander Michael Carneal, 29, was sentenced Tuesday to 151 months (12.5 years) in prison after pleading guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography in November, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a news release.
Carneal used GigaTribe to acquire and trade "diaper erotica and other sexually explicit content" involving children, the release says, citing his guilty plea and court documents.
On "multiple occasions" between May and June 2019, he exchanged messages with an undercover federal agent and told them he had a large collection of child porn and diaper content, which he made available for distribution.
In addition to the more than 12 years in prison, Carneal is sentenced to 20 years of supervised release and restitution, with an amount being determined later, the release says.
