Police and parents called after kids fight at Sky Zone, exchange racial insults

No further action was deemed necessary as the children were aged 9 and 10.

Police were called to a fight between two children in Maple Grove in which they also exchanged racist insults.

That's according to Maple Grove Police Department, which said it was called to the Sky Zone indoor trampoline park on Friday, April 16, after a report of an altercation.

The incident involved two children, aged 9 and 10, whose parents were called as a result, with Maple Grove PD noting that due to their age, no criminal charges will be brought.

"The investigation showed that both children made inappropriate racial-related comments towards each other," the press release says.

"The Maple Grove Police Department has been attempting to actively work with the parents ... to resolve this issue."
