Police: Missing Shoreview man located

His disappearance sparked an appeal on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office has announced that Stephen Cavanagh has been located.

Correction: An earlier version of our story stated that he had been found safe. The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office has not provide any details to confirm that, having only said he has been located.

Ramsey County Sheriff's Office has issued an appeal to find a missing Shoreview man.

Stephen Cavanagh, 52, was last heard from on Monday but hasn't been seen since.

He is believed to be a regular visitor to state parks and is believed to be in either Northern Minnesota, possibly near Goosebury Falls State Park, or southeast Minnesota near Frontenac State Park.

It's possible he's driving a 2013 red Mini Cooper with a white roof, and license plate number 2CR 466.

He's 5'8" tall and 155 pounds with blue eyes, brown hair, and glasses.

Police and his family are concerned for his safety.
