Police arrest 2 in reported stabbing, with the help of a cab driver
Two men were arrested Wednesday evening in connection with the stabbing of another man near Interstate 694 in the northern Twin Cities metro area, according to multiple media reports.
A "major police presence" was reported shortly before 10 p.m. along the freeway in Arden Hills while authorities conducted a search for suspects in an apparent stabbing.
KSTP reports the incident occurred near the Interstate 35 ramp to I-694.
Police found the two suspects with the help of a cab driver who was in the area, KARE 11 reports.
In the course of the search, officers asked the driver whether he'd seen anyone suspicious, and he told them he was waiting to pick up passengers who had just called him for a ride.
Four police officers got into the cab and waited for the suspects to arrive. When the two men approached the vehicle, the police arrested them.
