Police: Child sexually assaulted inside porta potty in Brooklyn Park
Numerous resources have been dedicated to an investigation following the sexual assault of a child at a park in Brooklyn Park.
Brooklyn Park Police Department says the assault of the 6-year-old child was reported around 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Willowstone Park (1909 95th Avenue North).
"The reporting party indicated to officers that they were having a family party at the park when they were unable to find their six-year-old child. A family member then located the child coming out of a porta potty followed by an unknown adult male," a news release from Dep. Chief Mark Bruley sais.
"After the male left the area, it was learned that he had sexually victimized the child inside the porta potty."
Police describe the suspect as a Black man, aged 20-25 years old. He was wearing a black T-shirt and has short hair on the sides "and puffy on top," as well as a thin mustache.
