Police and fire units are at the scene of a construction crane accident in Lexington.

Dispatch confirmed to Bring Me The News that the incident was ongoing as of 12:45 p.m. There were no injuries reported. The crane is involved in the construction of an apartment building on the 9000 block of Griggs Ave.

A photo submitted to Bring Me The News shows a large, red crane that has fallen on top of an under-construction apartment building.

The boom of the crane has destroyed a corner of the building, it appears.

Dispatch also told Bring Me The News that the power lines sparked a grass fire, though it's unclear if the fire is at all significant. The Lexington Fire Department is located about a block from the construction site.
