"Luckily everyone walked away from this crash today," Lino Lakes Police Department said in a post to social media on Thursday.
The crash happened in the north metro suburb and was caused by distracted driving, and the police department is using the severely damaged car as a reminder to pay attention at the wheel.
"There are so many distractions in our lives that it only takes a moment of inattention for a crash like this to occur," police said. "A distraction doesn’t always have to be physical, it can just be as simple as a moment of daydreaming or thinking about something else going on in your life.
"We ask that you do one thing, and one thing only when driving, pay attention."
Police didn't say exactly where the crash occurred, but commenters on Facebook say they saw the aftermath of it on Hodgson Road and Birch Street.
"Please eliminate distractions and focus your attention on the road so you can arrive at your destination safely," police added.
