Police find remains in search for missing teen, 2 more arrests made
Police investigating the murder of a 19-year-old woman in Moorhead have found human remains at a landfill.
The Moorhead Police Department says that the remains found at a landfill in Clay County are believed to be that of Dystynee Avery.
A 27-year-old man, Ethan Broad, was charged on Tuesday with her murder, having allegedly admitted to police that he killed her and dismembered her body, placing the body parts in the trash outside his apartment.
The remains have now been sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office, which will conduct medical examination that will identify the victim.
Moorhead PD said that it has also made two more arrests in connection with Avery's death.
A 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, both from Moorhead, were booked into Clay County Jail.
They are being held on accessory to murder charges.
