The pregnant woman killed in a crash with a semi-truck on Monday has been identified as 30-year-old Casey Myers.

Myers, of Holdingford, died just west of Sartell after the truck ran a stop sign and crashed into her SUV at around 7:45 a.m.

The driver of the semi, 46-year-old Corey Planck from Star City, Indiana, has not yet been arrested over the crash, but could face charges depending on the decision of the local county attorney's office.

Planck told police that he hadn't seen the stop sign.

The Star Tribune reports that Myers is survived by her husband Matthew, who is a junior math teacher and varsity boys basketball coach in the Holdingford School District.

The couple have a young son together, with Myers five months pregnant when she died along with her fetus.

Myers was a former student of St. Cloud State University, graduating in 2010 after studying in the Athletic Training Education (ATEP) program.

"She enjoyed being a wife and mother," a statement from the ATEP program said on Facebook. "It’s hard to believe she is gone so soon. We extend our deepest condolences to her husband, young son and the rest of her family and friends."

Holdingford Public Schools has postponed band concerts scheduled for this week as well as its planned basketball game vs. Milaca.
