The person killed in a crash involved a vehicle and two pedestrians on Friday evening in St. Paul has been identified as a teenager.
According to St. Paul Police Department, Zahra Mohamed, 19, of St. Paul, was one of two victims struck by the vehicle near the intersection of McKnight Road North and Burns Avenue around 6 p.m.
Mohamed was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victim, a 22-year-old woman from St. Paul, was transported to Regions Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle involved in the crash was traveling south on McKnight Road at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
No arrests have been made and the occupants of the vehicle were cooperating with police.
The crash in St. Paul happened just 24 hours after two people were hit by a pickup and killed while crossing a street on the Roseville-St. Paul border.
