Authorities have identified the two men who died after crashing a stolen Lyft car into trees in St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Police Department confirms that David Isaacs, 42, of St. Cloud, and James Parkos, 46, of Sauk Rapids, died after crashing shortly after 1 a.m. on Tuesday.

The pair had been picked up by a Lyft driver earlier that night, before threatening to kill him and then stealing his car.

The car then fled at speeds of up to 112 mph, before crashing into trees off of County Road 8.

St. Cloud PD says Isaacs was driving the vehicle and was taken the St. Cloud Hospital, where he died.
