Bloomington police are investigating the death of a 4-month-old girl at a local hotel.

Officers were called to the Days Inn at 7851 Normandale Blvd. at 3:41 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a child not breathing.

They arrived at the scene where they were met by the child's parents, whose 4-month-old daughter was unconscious.

Lifesaving efforts were started, with the child then taken to Children's Hospital. Tragically, she did not survive.

Bloomington PD says no arrests have been made and the parents are cooperating with the investigation.

The hotel is located just off of the intersection between Hwy. 100 and I-494 in Bloomington.
