Police investigating fatal shooting after domestic disturbance in rural Minnesota

Three people at the property were not injured.

Police arrived at the scene of a reported domestic disturbance in rural Douglas County to find a man has died after being shot.

The incident happened in Garfield, near Alexandria, on Wednesday, and police  identified the victim as David Wayne Bragg, 43.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, police found Bragg's body after a reports shots had been fired at the home on County Road 5 NW.

As well as Bragg, police found three other people at the house, all of whom were uninjured.

Police described the incident as isolated, and that there was no wider risk to the public.

The three other occupants of the house were interviewed but as of yet no arrests have been made.

The case remains under investigation.
