Police are appealing for information about a hit-and-run in Bloomington that killed a family's dog.
The incident happened at 10:50 p.m. Thursday on the 2400 block of West 102nd Street, when a vehicle jumped a curb, crashed through a property's fence and hit the dog.
The dog was a Siberian Husky "beloved" by owner Sarah Barbouche, who posted on Facebook that the offending driver sped off after the crash.
"Our hearts are broken and anything helps. please share so we can catch this person," she wrote.

She says the driver was in a white, two-door car that was possibly a Nissan, though police say it's also possibly a Mazda from the late '80s, early '90s.
