Police investigating shooting at LA Fitness parking lot in the Twin Cities

Fortunately, nobody was hit in the shooting.

Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the parking lot of the L.A. Fitness in Richfield.

"We responded to a report of shots fired there last night," Lt. Joe Griffin of the Richfield Police Department told BMTN. "Nobody was hit. Several cars were damaged. We are investigating."

Details beyond that are limited other than social media reports saying a heavy police presence arrived at the scene late Thursday night.

We'll update the story if more information is released.
