Law enforcement officials have issued a missing persons alert for a missing 18-year-old, last seen in White Bear Lake.

White Bear Lake police are seeking the public’s help in finding Kyle Christopher Konkler, who has a job at the department. He's described as 6 feet tall, 215 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a navy blue T-shirt with a ‘WBLFP Supporters’ logo. FOX 9 reports he is from Woodbury.

Police say he left work at the White Bear Lake Police Department early Thursday afternoon and has not been seen since. Konkler is high-functioning on the autism spectrum, according to a Minnesota Department of Public Safety post on Facebook. The teen may have trouble with directions and falsely believe he is in trouble, officials say.

Anyone with information is urged to call White Bear Lake police at 651-429-8511 or 911.
