Police: Machete-wielding man robbed Eagan bank

The robbery happened shortly after it opened last Wednesday.

A man wielding a machete robbed a bank in Eagan, police say.

Eagan police have issued an appeal for information following the armed robbery last Wednesday morning.

It happened at the Bremer Bank on Cliff Road at 9:30 a.m., a half hour after the bank opened for the day.

He walked up to a teller and demanded money. It's not clear if he left with any cash.
