Police investigating the killing of four people at a property management company in Mandan, North Dakota have made an arrest.

Mandan Police Chief Jason Ziegler said Thursday night that a 44-year-old man from Washburn, ND, was arrested on four counts of AA felony murder.

It follows the killing of four people at RJR Maintenance and Management, with their bodies found early Monday morning.

The owner of the business and three of his employees were those killed, with police revealing for the first time on Thursday that they had either been shot or stabbed to death.

Police examined video surveillance, which helped them identify the suspect vehicle and led them the vehicle's location.

Officers then carried out a traffic stop on the 44-year-old, and after serving a warrant found evidence in the vehicle potentially linking him to the murders.

At this stage, the motive is unknown and the suspect continues to be questioned. It's not known whether the suspect has a connection to RJR Maintenance.
