Police have identified the two people who died in a shooting at a home in Blaine Monday, and say they believe it's a murder-suicide.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office confirmed the deceased as Maksim Krechetov, 44, and Yulia Khort, 47, both of Blaine.

"Early indications suggest that Krechetov shot and killed Khort, and then took his own life via gunfire," the sheriff's office said Tuesday afternoon.

Police have been called to a home on the 600 block of 120th Ave. NE Monday evening on a report of a domestic incident.

It was there they found two children who they moved to safety, before hearing gunshots from inside the residence.

They went inside to find the bodies of Krechetov and Khort.
