Police in Inver Grove Heights are asking the public to help keep an eye out for a man who has been missing since Wednesday, April 28, with his vehicle involved in a hit-and-run days later.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, 28-year-old Kayode Awode was last seen April 28 at the Dar Al Farooq Center in Bloomington.

Days later, on May 1, his vehicle – a black Toyota Camry with Minnesota license plates 591-UZU – was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Richfield. The BCA says "it is unknown whether he was the driver."

Awode is described as being 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has ties to the Moorhead area, according to the BCA.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
