Police have released an image of a woman identified as a person of interest in connection with an alleged sex assault at the Republican Party's Minnesota State Fair booth.

The incident was reported around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 at the GOP booth.

The image released above is of a woman considered a "person of interest who may have been involved in a sexual assault" at the booth.

As reported earlier this week, the victim, an unidentified woman, reported being groped by another woman after a "verbal disagreement regarding political affiliation."

A State Fair police spokesperson at the time confirmed they'd received a report of a volunteer being groped "over the clothes."

The perpetrator is described as a white woman in her 30s, brunette and 5 feet 4 inches tall.

Anyone with information about the woman pictured should call the Minnesota State Fair Police Department at 651-288-4500.
