Minneapolis police are searching for a suspect who fatally shot a man in north Minneapolis early Sunday.
Upon arrival, they found an adult man suffering from apparent gun shot wounds. Officers performed CPR, but he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Homicide investigators canvassed the area and are following up on leads, but no one has been taken into custody.
The medical examiner will release the man's identity and cause of death.

As of May 10, there had been 10 homicides in Minneapolis so far this year.
Last week (May 5-11), there were at least six shootings reported, with numerous incidents of shots fired reported, according to the city's Shot Spotter data.
