Police searching for suspect who fired weapon during gas station robbery

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public's help locating an armed robbery suspect.

In a news release, police say they're looking for a suspect who fired a gun while robbing the Stop N Go at 1122 Spring St. NE back on April 5, at around 8:30 p.m.

The shot did not hit anyone, police say, and the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Images of the suspect were caught on camera. He's described by police as in his mid-20s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, wearing a dark hoodie. He also had on a baseball hat, possibly purple, with yellow/gold color print on the front and a yellow/gold bill.
