Police seek arsonists who set fire to ice rink warming house in Arden Hills

Police in Ramsey County are looking for the people responsible starting the above fire at a park in Arden Hills.

Authorities arrived at the blaze at Hazelnut Park at 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 1, to find an ice rink warming house fully alight.

The fire was confirmed as being started deliberately, with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office now trying to find the culprits.

Nobody was injured in the fire, while police have not been able to find any witnesses who saw someone at the scene or fleeing the fire.

The rink at Hazelnut Park is one of four operated by the City of Arden Hills, the others being at Cummings, Freeway and Perry parks.

The rink at Hazelnut Park typically opens for use around Dec. 12.
