Police seek driver in fatal hit-and-run in Minneapolis
Minneapolis police are seeking leads as they investigate a fatal Saturday morning hit-and-run.
Police got a call about a man lying in the street near E. 32nd Street and Snelling Avenue S., near Hiawatha Avenue in south Minneapolis, the Star Tribune reports. They found a 42-year-old man with serious injuries and he was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died. His identity was not immediately released.
Police say his injuries suggest he was hit by a vehicle and a homicide unit has been assigned to the case, police said.
