Police seeking tips in search for road rage shooting suspect
Authorities in Maplewood are asking for help finding the man who shot at a driver during an apparent road rage incident last week.
According to a Facebook post from the local police department, the incident happened Tuesday afternoon on the 1800 block of Larpenteur Ave. E, where the suspect and the victim found themselves in a "traffic altercation":
The shooter fled the scene, while the victim suffered non life-threatening injuries. No other details surrounding the incident have been disclosed.
According to the above news release, the suspect is a six-foot-tall black male in his mid 20s with thin build. At the time of the shooting, he was wearing an "orange or red hat, blue top, and dark colored pants."
He was driving a newer four-door black Dodge Charger with a possible partial license plate of “296.”
