UPDATE 7 P.M.
The 11-year-old girl has been found safe, with police not releasing details of how and where she was found due to an ongoing investigation.
Police in South St. Paul are seeking help to find an 11-year-old girl who they say has been possibly lured by an online acquaintance.
The police department said Maddie Jungbauer was last seen at her home in the 1400 block of Concord St. South just after midnight Saturday.
She was noticed missing at 9 a.m. Saturday morning, with Maddie leaving information behind "suggesting she left willingly."
"Investigation revealed Maddie possibly formed an online relationship and that individual may be involved with Maddie’s leaving," South St. Paul PD said.
"Maddie does not have a history of running away and we are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the child."
Right now, police don't have a description of the person she's thought to be with, but will update as and when it becomes available.
Anyone with information as to her whereabouts should call (651) 554-3300.
