Police say alcohol was a factor in a rollover crash in central Minnesota in which two children were in the vehicle.

The incident reported at 4 p.m. Thursday saw the vehicle roll over at the intersection of County Road 1 and 45th Avenue Southwest in St. John's Township, west of Willmar.

The driver, a 29-year-old man from Prinsburg, Minnesota, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Two children, aged 9 and 10, were passengers in the vehicle, with the younger child also suffering minor injuries. The other child was not hurt.

"Alcohol use is believed to be a factor in the crash," the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said on Friday.

The case remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
