A teenage boy has died after he was stabbed at his Minnetonka home, with his younger brother believed to be responsible.
Minnetonka Police said they arrived at an apartment complex at 11367 Fairfield Road to find a 16-year-old boy with a life-threatening stab wound to the chest.
The boy was taken to North Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police believe that the boy's 12-year-old brother used a kitchen knife to caused the stab wound.
The boys' mother and other family members were home at the time, with police now trying to determine the circumstances that led to the stabbing.
The 12 year old is under evaluation in hospital, though he was not injured in the incident.
The identity of the victim will be released at a later date by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
