Minneapolis police are trying to identify a man who was the victim of an aggravated assault outside the CC Club in Minneapolis earlier this month.

The incident was captured on video and was viewed millions of times on social media, showing a young man hitting another man in the face with a skateboard.

The suspect, who has been identified by police, asks the victim to say the N-word, and then tells him he is going to hit him in the "[expletive] face" with a skateboard "as soon as you say the N-word."

When the victim says the N-word, the attacker asks his friend, "you got it on camera?" before hitting the victim full in the face with the skateboard.

MPD says that the victim has not come forward and there were no 911 calls connected to the incident, but add that the victim is possibly Asian with a light build. He was wearing a hat and black t-shirt at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
