If you're out and about in the Twin Cities this weekend, you'd best be aware of these impending road closures.

Road, lane and ramp closures will be in effect starting Friday night, with the big project the closure of I-494 in the west metro.

Minnesota United is already warning fans heading to the game to be aware of potential disruption, as they prepare to welcome FC Dallas for a 7 p.m. kickoff Saturday.

Here's a look at the closures that will come into effect this weekend.

– I-494 is closing between I-394 and the I-94/694 split in Maple Grove, to allow crews to demolish the Rockford Road bridge across the interstate. Traffic will be detoured onto Hwy. 169.

– Lane closures on northbound I-35W between River Bridge and 106th Street in the south metro on Friday night starting 7 p.m., reopening Saturday at 5 a.m.

– Nighttime lane closures on I-494 in Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul.

– Nighttime ramp closures Friday and Sunday at the I-94/I-494/I-694 interchange in Oakdale and Woodbury, affecting westbound I-94.
