President Donald Trump is coming to Minnesota this Monday.
The president's visit, per The Hill, was confirmed by White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in Texas on Wednesday.
He'll be visiting on tax filing deadline day, and The Hill notes Trump is expected to hold a "Tax Day Event" as he seeks to make his Tax Cuts and Jobs Act a major part of his 2020 campaign.
At this stage, it's not clear where the president will make his appearance or when.
Trump made a single appearance as a candidate prior to the 2016 election, holding a rally in a hangar at MSP Airport.
He's since been to Minnesota twice, visiting Duluth and Rochester prior to the 2018 mid-terms. The Republican candidates in both districts – 1 and 8 – won after his visit.
