Just in time for Halloween, renowned Minnesota ghostbuster and professional psychic Michael Bodine was the featured interviewee at a monthly Smile Network event Thursday in downtown Minneapolis.

Bodine, the author of "Growing Up Psychic" is part of a famed family of psychics. His mother and two sisters, including well-known psychic Echo Bodine, also have "the gift."

Bodine told BringMeTheNews Anchor Kevyn Burger how he learned to identify his psychic abilities as a child growing up in Edina.

"My whole family started having experiences when I was five or six or seven," he said.

For more than 40 years, Bodine has been performing ghost bustings and giving readings to clients ranging from financiers to Hollywood celebrities like comedian Lewis Black and actress Melanie Griffith.

He also made some predictions for an audience member planning his financial future.

As for Minnesota sports teams, the outlook is bleak, according to Bodine. The professional psychic said former Twins first baseman Justin Morneau won't be back to Minnesota anytime soon and the Vikings will continue to have an embarrassing season.
