L.L. Bean to expand its bootprint at Mall of America

A new high-profile tenant is coming to the Mall of America. In November, outdoors retailer L.L. Bean will open in the first floor space previously occupied by Bloomingdale’s. It will be the Maine-based company’s first location west of the Mississippi. The company, known for its hiking boots and flannel shirts, will offer Minnesota customers a large selection of cold-weather clothing and outdoors gear.

Moorhead woman gets jail time after sending Christmas card

A Moorhead woman is in jail because she sent a Christmas card to her neighbor. Sharon Rosseau has had a bitter and long-standing dispute with a neighbor, who had a restraining order to prevent contact. A jury found Rosseau guilty on one count of harassment for violating the order by sending the holiday card. Rosseau will serve two days in jail for the misdemeanor conviction.

In the not-too-distant future the Giordano's chain will serve the signature thick slices at a new restaurant in Uptown in Minneapolis. It’s expected to open next spring.
