Family IDs man killed at gas station; authorities search for suspect

The man who was shot and killed at an Arden Hills gas station Monday has been identified as a longtime executive at Boston Scientific and the co-founder of a Minneapolis bar, reports say. Authorities have also identified a suspect in connection with the shooting and are looking for the public's help to find him.

7 Minnesota counties cleared for emergency haying, grazing

Farmers in seven Minnesota counties are experiencing a severe shortage in hay for their livestock. That follows excessive rain earlier this summer, which led to a 40-percent drop in their available feed. The federal Farm Service Agency is allowing those farmers to use set-aside acreage for haying and grazing. The counties where farms have been approved for emergency haying and grazing include Carver, Kittson, Le Sueur, McLeod, Rock, Roseau and Sibley.

Twins minor league affiliate completes ridiculous no-hitter

The Rochester Red Wings, the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, completed a wild no-hitter last night. According to Yahoo Sports, the no-hitter started July 24th in Durham, North Carolina. Bad weather suspended the game until last night, where they picked up action in the fourth inning – 634 miles away in Rochester, New York. Trevor May started the no-hitter 18 days ago, and Logan Darnell finished the final six innings of it last night.
