Wife of accused New Brighton shooter found not guilty

The wife of a man charged in the shooting death of a neighbor has been found not guilty on all counts. Paula Zumberge was accused of egging on her husband as authorities say he fired at his New Brighton neighbors last May. They reportedly had a long-running feud over deer feeding. Zumberge waived her right to a jury trial so a judge decided the case. Her husband faces second-degree murder charges in his case.

Kluwe case resolved: Vikings will donate to LGBT groups as part of settlement

Former Vikings punter Chris Kluwe reached a settlement in his threatened lawsuit against his former team. Per the settlement, the Vikings will donate money to LGBT organizations and provide sensitivity training to players and employees. Kluwe himself walks away with no cash in the deal. Kluwe had accused the organization of widespread homophobia.

Are Minnesotans honest? Not compared to other states

Honesty may be the best policy, but it’s not one Minnesotans are following. That’s according to a national test by the Honest Tea beverage company. The company set up unmanned racks of tea, for payment on the honor system. Minnesota came in 50th out of 51 – residents of Washington, D.C. were sampled along with all the states. Only Rhode Islanders took more without paying.
