The restaurant and bar, which has two Twin Cities locations and a third under construction, got a "Golden Ticket" endorsed invitation from Food Network star Ben Vaughn to compete among 50 contestants in the World Burger Competition, according to the restaurant's website.
For the competition, cooks will create their best recipe for judging in three categories: signature dish, structured build and infused ingredient, according to the World Food Championship website.
Bragging rights and $100,000 is at stake in the competition, which takes place starting Nov. 12 and will be shown on A&E's fyi Network, Red Cow says.

According to the World Food Championships website, there are currently no World Food Championship restaurants in Minnesota.
Red Cow and its creator, Minnesota native Luke Shimp, have received numerous accolades for the restaurant's innovative gourmet burgers, including best burger by Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine for its turkey burger, best new restaurant by Edina Magazine and best brunch by the Pioneer Press.
