Anti-foreclosure group reports progress
Organizers with the group Occupy Homes say their efforts to help homeowners fight foreclosure are showing signs of success, MPR reports. The group's staged sit-ins at foreclosed properties have led to 40 arrests, including local rapper Brother Ali outside a Minneapolis home last month.
Fewer Minnesotans delinquent on their mortgages
5.4 percent of Minnesota mortgage holders were behind by at least one payment during the third quarter. That's almost a full percentage point lower than during the same period last year. It's also one of the lowest delinquency rates among the states.

MPR reports one in every 336 homes was in default, repossession or scheduled for auction in the third quarter of this year. That could be a sign of more foreclosures to come.
Delta loan repayment will end job commitments in Minnesota
Delta plans to pay off what's left on a Metropolitan Airports Commission loan it inherited from Northwest Airlines. Once the loan is repaid, Delta will no longer be bound by a commitment to keep at least 10,000 jobs in Minnesota. The airline currently has 12,000 employees here.
