14 people in van involved in rollover crash in southeast Minnesota

Fourteen people were in a Chevrolet Express passenger van when it crashed and rolled early Thursday morning in southeast Minnesota. 

The single-vehicle rollover crash happened at 1:50 a.m. on Hwy. 52 at Hwy. 60 West in Zumbrota, with the city's police department arriving at the scene approximately one minute after the crash was reported to Goodhue County 911 dispatch. 

Police arrived at the scene to find numerous patients, some of them with critical injuries. Police said the crash involved "unrestrained passengers who were ejected due to the velocity of the crash." 

The State Patrol confirmed to Bring Me The News that all 14 people in the van were transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.  At 12 p.m., the State Patrol updated a crash report for all passengers involved, three of whom suffered life-threatening injuries.

    • 49-year-old man from Blue River, WI - not life-threatening injuries
    • 48-year-old woman from Blue River, WI - not life-threatening injuries
    • 18-year-old man from Boscobel, WI - not life-threatening injuries
    • 40-year-old man from Blue River, WI - life-threatening injuries
    • 21-year-old man from Blue River, WI - life-threatening injuries
    • 39-year-old woman from Blue River, WI - not life-threatening injuries
    • 56-year-old man from Pardeeville, WI - not life-threatening injuries
    • 33-year-old woman from Pardeeville, WI - life-threatening injuries
    • 50-year-old from Pardeeville, WI - not life-threatening injuries
