A rhino is on Tinder in a last-ditch effort to save his species

Sudan really hopes you'll swipe right.

Sudan really hopes you'll swipe right.

He's the world's most eligible (rhino) bachelor, and he just happens to also be a the last male northern white rhino in existence.

To help save his species, Ol Pejeta Conservancy in central Kenya teamed up with Tinder to raise $9 million to fund Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) to help Sudan breed with the last two female northern white rhinos, the conservancy tweeted.

So when you're swiping through Tinder, keep an eye out for the 42-year-old rhino. And when you swipe right, you'll get a message with a link to donate to the cause, Mashable reports.

If it works, this would be the first Tinder match that would help save a species, Mashable says. And this would also be the first time scientists used artificial reproduction in rhinos, Wired notes.
