Richfield woman dies a week after crash on Highway 13 in the south metro

The crash happened on Sunday, Nov. 4 in Savage.

A Richfield woman involved in a crash in the south metro earlier this month has died, according to a release from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Judy Loretta Brown, 78, died Monday at Hennepin County Medical Center as a result of blunt force injuries suffered in a Nov. 4 crash on Hwy. 13 in Savage.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened at the intersection of Hwy. 13 and Quentin Avenue when Brown failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

According to her online obituary, Brown celebrated living 50 years in her Richfield home this summer, and was "truly the nicest person you could meet."

An 18-year-old man driving the vehicle Brown collided with was not injured in the crash.
