Mitt Romney's presidential campaign says the presumptive Republican nominee will appear with Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann in Portsmouth, Virginia, Thursday afternoon. Bachmann recently said she delayed endorsing her party's candidate because she was working behind the scenes to bring various Republican factions together.

The Minnesota Congresswoman praised her former Republican presidential opponent during an interview on NBC's Meet the Press Sunday. Bachmann dropped out of the race for the White House in January and is now seeking another term representing Minnesota's Sixth Congressional District.

The Daily is reporting that Citizens for a Working America, which had said it would back Michele Bachmann, recently made a $475,000 ad buy in Iowa on behalf of rival Mitt Romney, according to an FEC filing on Wednesday. The news site quotes an anonymous insider who confirms the ad supports Romney and mentions no other candidate.

Republican Mitt Romney's presidential campaign trail passed through Eagan Wednesday. In his warehouse appearance he took some shots at President Obama, ignored his Republican rivals, and got showered with glitter -- twice.

Asked about a Mitt Romney endorsement, Bachmann's reply was "all in good time." The Minnesota Congresswoman says she's working behind the scenes to line up her evangelical and Tea Party supporters behind the presumptive Republican nominee for president.

The Republican presidential hopeful will make a campaign stop in the Twin Cities suburb alongside Tim Pawlenty ahead of the Feb. 7 caucuses. His visit comes on the heels of rival Rick Santorum, who stopped in Luverne, Minn., on Monday.

An FEC filing released Tuesday says Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney, as well as his family, staff and supporters sent checks to Pawlenty to help him settle $66,000 of debt left over from his failed presidential bid.

Arizona Congressman Trent Franks has endorsed Rep. Michele Bachmann for president and will be joining her campaign. He said she is "right on issues that are important to conservatives."
