Salvation Army Red Kettle stolen from Maplewood Pizza Ranch, Rogers Cub Foods

This is the second time a kettle filled with cash has been stolen in the metro this year.

It's the season of giving but another Salvation Army Red Kettle has been stolen by a Grinch-like thief. 

According to Maplewood Police Department, a kettle filled with cash was stolen off the countertop at Pizza Ranch in Maplewood around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday. Police posted photos of the suspect and are asking the public for help to identify him. 

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact them by calling 651-249-2600, through a Facebook message or via emailing 

Police in Blaine recently identified two suspects accused of using a bolt cutter to steal a Salvation Army Red Kettle that was unattended at a Cub Foods grocery store in Blaine. Their social media post with photos and video of the theft racked up more than 800,000 views went viral. 

Rogers police is also asking for help to identify a suspect accused of stealing a kettle from Cub Foods.
