A school bus carrying seven children rolled over into a ditch after being struck by a pickup in western Minnesota.

The crash happened in rural Traverse County just after 8 a.m. Thursday as the school bus, which was carrying children aged 5-15, was southbound on 740th Avenue.

As it approached 680th Street, a pickup traveling westbound struck the bus, causing it to change direction before rolling into a ditch.

The children on board the school bus, as well as the driver, were treated and released from Wheaton Sanford Medical Center.

The pickup driver, a 24-year-old man, was taken to Sanford Wheaton by ambulance, and was later airlifted Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries.

The school bus was operated by Raguse Bus Lines, based out of Wheaton.
