The driver of a school bus involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash with a pedestrian Monday in Brooklyn Park has been arrested.
According to Brooklyn Park Police Department, detectives located the "striking school bus involved" in the deadly incident, saying nothing more than a man was arrested for criminal vehicular homicide and remains in custody.
The incident happened at Humboldt Avenue and Meadowood Drive around 6:49 a.m. Monday, with police receiving a report of a person down in the street. When they got to the scene, the female victim had already died from her injuries.
The victim has not been identified and the case in under investigation by Brooklyn Park PD, the Minnesota State Patrol and Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.
No further information has been released.
