SD police look for owner of lost meth with (hilarious) Facebook post
Some valuable lost property was turned over to a local South Dakota police department recently, and authorities are trying to find who it belongs to.
The item? A "large amount" of methamphetamine.
Police, of course, are "very concerned and would like to find the owner."
The tongue-in-cheek Facebook post by the Mobridge Police Department went up Wednesday. It's been shared more than 560 times, and is providing some entertainment to Facebook users. Here's the post:

Mobridge is located along the Missouri River, in north-central South Dakota. It's got a population of about 3,500.
Police say the meth was discovered at a retail business in the town, and turned in to the police department.
"If you are missing Methamphetamine and were in a Mobridge business on Tuesday, May 26th, please notify the MPD and describe the packaging and we will see what we can do for you."
Said one commenter: "wonder [if] that includes room and board."
