Search continues on Mississippi River for missing 12-year-old boy
Law enforcement is searching the Mississippi River for a 12-year-old boy who went missing Monday night.
Water patrols from Ramsey, Hennepin and Dakota counties are continuing their "recovery efforts" on the Mississippi River on Tuesday, Ramsey County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Roy Magnuson told Bring Me The News.
The boy went missing near Hidden Falls Regional Park in St. Paul around 7 p.m. Monday.
The boy's family identified him as Ashok Pradhan, who just finished sixth-grade at Humboldt Junior High in St. Paul, FOX 9 says.
Crews worked until about midnight searching for him and will be on the water as late as 9 p.m. Tuesday, if necessary, Magnuson said.
Hidden Falls Regional Park is located along the Mississippi River bluffs below Lock and Dam 1 and features about 6.7 miles of trails, as well as other amenities.
